I for one have to say I have carried a form of the iPhone off on and through both carriers AT&T and Verizon Wireless, and never thought to use a iFrogz case. Well guess what? Since the first day i have been rocking out their cases I have gotten nothing, but positive responses and compliments on the look and feel of my iPhone 4.

Today’s review is on the iFrogz Luxe Original. This awesome two-piece case designed for the iPhone 4 (Compatible with both versions) that comes in 8 different variations. Is just stunning with the color combinations available and the overall feel are amazing. The feel of it is hard to describe it, but better put by iFrogz themselves as “velvety.” I guess that one word sums it all up for everyone.

For as slim as the case it is sure does protect it well. Now would I recommend tossing it from 15 feet high in the air, probably not. That’s where you get their BullFrogz series for that heavy duty feel and superior protection.

For quality and style iFrogz is the case for me.

Having been a user of Otterbox cases for many years, I was anxious to get the Xoom Defender case. Overall the case is very good. It has the defender series hard plastic with rubber wrap giving double layers of protection. There are a couple surprises with it however.

Although it does add bulk to the Xoom, with protective hard shell it is over twice as thick, it does give a good feel to the device and fit very well in your hand. Also is very comfortable to hold cradled in one hard/arm while using the screen with the other. Its design makes it much more comfortable to hold in this way than the Xoom is without a case.

One very nice feature is the large docking ‘flap’. Most cases require you to remove them to use with the desktop charging stands for the Xoom, not the Otterbox. It has a small cover of the charger/usb/HDMI connections, AND a larger flap that unclips and opens exposing the Xoom in its ‘normal’ condition to fit the desktop docks (both charging dock, and multimedia dock). After installing the case, I have not had to remove it for any reason whatsoever.

The outer hard shell has multiple uses. It mounts as a back to the case, giving anti skid feet, hand holds, as well as added protection. The shell also will unclip and move around to the front, becoming a hard shell protector for the touchscreen. It other use, which is more useful than it even sounds, and it sounds useful, is as a device stand. There is a 2-way angle stand that flips into place inside the shell, you then set the Xoom at one of two angles. The more vertical angle works very well with the Motorola Bluetooth keyboard, while the shallower angle is at a perfect angle if you are using the on screen soft keyboard.

The Otterbox does not have a built-in screen protector. Some people might see this as a down-side, personally I much prefer it this way. For the size of the Xoom screen, and the amount/type of use, I prefer the Zagg Invisible shield on the screen itself. The Otterbox compliments this perfectly.

The case installs for the most part like all Otterbox Defenders. You assemble the hard shell, then wrap it in the rubber. This case has one important difference that some past Otterbox users might miss if they don’t read the instructions. You DO NOT remove the rubber completely from the hard shell. This is unique in all the Defender cases I have had up to this point, and appears to be at least partially due to the way the above mentioned docking flap is attached.

The only thing that might shock some people is the somewhat thin feeling you get from it at first. Being used to Otterbox cases for phone-sized devices, it is a little off to feel sections of the case flex so easily, mostly the border around the screen. This is due to the sheer size of the sections however, and the flex amount to help absorb impact.

The list price for the case might be a little bit of sticker-shock as it is about 40% more than a Defender case for a phone-sized device, but that is due to its size. The list price is in-line with the Defenders for the other big tablets (iPad, etc). Still a cheap price to pay for the protection of the Xoom is actual real-world use. Also, like most electronics, you can also shop around online and get it at a much better price than list.

Overall I am very pleased with the case and would highly recommend it for the protection to anyone who actually uses their Xoom outside an office situation, and to all Xoom users no matter what their usage situation for the great convenience of the built-in stand capability. I had already 95% replaced my laptop use with the Xoom, the convenience of the angles for the internal and bluetooth keyvoards have made it over 99% replace the laptop for all portable computing.

It was just last Wednesday that I got this case (OtterBox Defender for Atrix) the look and feel of the case is great, it did take me some time to get use the phone being bulky but didn’t take long.

This case can take a beating being I have dropped my phone a couple times already with this case and no damage to the device at all. If you’re looking for a case that’s going to protect your phone this would be one of them. This case does come with a little bit of a price 49.95 but it definitely worth the money because of the amount of protection it provides.

Some key things about this case would be
• Durability
• Pre-Installed Screen Protector
• Comes with hard shell then gel case to go around that
• Protection

Like I said in the Key Things about this case this case comes with a Hard Shell which your phone sits in and it snaps together then you have a gel case that goes around the Hard Shell, so you know that your phone is protected of course not from water.

The buttons even have protection because there covered by the silicone case, this use to be a problem with me because I would always ware my buttons out on my device but with this I don’t have to worry about that. It even covers the charging ports so you don’t have to worry about anything getting in there that shouldn’t be.

I would recommend this case to anyone that is looking for a durable case for their device, OtterBox offers a lot of cases for different phones they even have smaller versions not just the bulky cases for those people that might want something smaller.

I can’t say that I have actually tried iFrogz products besides their headphones until now. I have to admit that when I saw the case it looked quite flimsy and that I didn’t think it could handle my daily routine.

WRONG! Its quite nice and has held up quite well to my day to day routines. It has a nice sleek finish sort of like a clear coat of wax put on cars after they have been newly painted. I thought the case would get scratched from day one. I have gotten marks on it, but they have all just rubbed off probably due to the clear coat I talked about in the beginning.

The case itself is quite stunning and forms a snug fit around the iPhone 4. It hasn’t gotten me nothing, but compliments from co-workers and clients. They are all quite jealous and want to know where they can get one for themselves.

Of course I point them over to the iFrogz website to get theirs ordered right away.

Any questions feel free to reply or shoot me an email.

In one word this case is “SEXY!” I truly fell in love with this case since the first day I slipped it on my iPad 1. I went almost 3 weeks without even setting up or touching my iPad because of the lack of protection. Well when I got this puppy I have yet to put it down!

When you hear the word OtterBox you know what your getting. It’s the protection with the price point that everyone can afford. I’m willing to dish out a few bucks if it’s going to offer me something in the long run. The company stands behind their products from day one that you receive them.

Now on to the case enough of me :p. The case as you all know if you have ever purchased any of the Commuter Series cases comes with a silicone rubber that gets applied after the screen protector that THEY provide!!. Then you snap on the hard outer shell and bam! Beauty of this case that I liked was that it has a slip piece that slides off and on that protects the charging/sync port at the bottom of the iPad,. If your worried about it becoming loose. I have had for almost two months and it is still as secure as the first day I got it.

I get these cases because of the everyday work and because my kids love my gadgets. I’m sure a lot of you out there can relate to this. So go visit their site or a respective authorized retailer of their products.

Well what can you really say about the company Otterbox, except that just hearing the bare name rings nothing, but excellence and quality. Most users of the Otterbox brand know they carry the heavy price tag, but for a reason. Durability and they stand behind their product 100% regardless of where you bought it from.

Well this time around I got to rock out to both the Commuter and the Defender Series style cases for the iPhone 4 on Verizon! I used the Defender Series case while work only because I roam around a pretty tight, fast paced environment where if you don’t move quick you may have lost one HUGE sale. Let just say my phone got banged around quite often cutting corners on doors, desks, and the occasional co-workers as well :p.

To be honest most of the Defender Series cases I have used are quite bulky, but the one on the iPhone is not much bulkier than the phone itself. I would rock the Defender Series case on a daily basis if I wanted it on my hip all the time. But sometimes you just need the sleekness of something slimmer.

Bam! That’s where the Commuter Series cases comes in. Protection and sleekness in a all-in-one package. Thin enough that I can still slip it into my pocket and still protect just as well as a Defender Series case. Can you drop it from a few feet off the floor, of course you can! The roof of your house? Yeah probably not lol. But for average use, i wouldn’t be too worried about it.

Either way you can’t go wrong with either one. So head on over to Otterbox.com and order one today!
